When two parties enter into any contract / agreement, should an amendment be require – regardless of how large, small, significant or insignficant this change may be – a note of this amendment should be documented and distributed to the other party for acceptance.
You may choose to do this in your own personal capacity or you may choose to use the services of a lawyer however, this legal tip of the week would like to highlight how critical it is to ensure any alterations or changes are documented and agreed to.
