A royal baby boy has been born to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
He is a healthy 8 pounds, six ounces (3.8kg), born at 4.24pm on Monday (5.24am NZ time).
The birthdate is significant to the Auckland lawyers at Quay Law as Ian Mellett also celebrates his birthday on the 22 July.
