Remuera has been allocated Scotland as our team for Auckland City’s ‘Adopt a Team’ programme, which enables business districts to participate in Rugby World Cup festivities.
Scotland is a great fit for Remuera, especially with St Kentigern’s School just down the road.
All schools and rugby clubs in the Remuera area will also be supporting Scotland so it’s a great opportunity to build community events and vibrancy in the town centre.
We will have more information from Council in the coming months as to how the programme works.
